Ren\u00e9 d\u00e9tient un baccalaur\u00e9at en chimie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (1989). Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 conseiller politique aupr\u00e8s du ministre de l\u2019Environnement du Qu\u00e9bec de 1991 \u00e0 1994, responsable des dossiers li\u00e9s aux sols contamin\u00e9s et aux mati\u00e8res dangereuses. Il retourne aux \u00e9tudes en 1999 afin d\u2019obtenir une ma\u00eetrise en sant\u00e9 environnementale et en sant\u00e9 au travail \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Avec son int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant pour l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne du travail et la sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9, il obtient les certifications de Professionnel en Sant\u00e9 et S\u00e9curit\u00e9 du Travail Agr\u00e9\u00e9 (CRSP, 2006) et d\u2019Hygi\u00e9niste du Travail Agr\u00e9\u00e9 (ROH, 2007). En 2012, il est \u00e9lu repr\u00e9sentant du Qu\u00e9bec au Conseil Canadien d\u2019Agr\u00e9ment des Hygi\u00e9nistes du Travail (CCAHT), puis en devient pr\u00e9sident en 2017. En 2018, il commence \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter le CCAHT (Canada) aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Association Internationale d\u2019Hygi\u00e8ne du Travail (IOHA) et en devient pr\u00e9sident en 2020. \nEn 2020, il repr\u00e9sente l\u2019IOHA au sein du Comit\u00e9 Vision Z\u00e9ro de l\u2019Organisation Internationale du Travail (OIT). Il contribue \u00e0 l\u2019organisation de la conf\u00e9rence Vision Z\u00e9ro au Japon en 2022 (en mode virtuel). En 2021, il devient charg\u00e9 de cours au programme de ma\u00eetrise en hygi\u00e8ne du travail \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill. Dre Victoria Arrandale est professeure associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la Dalla Lana School Of Public Health de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, o\u00f9 elle est directrice du Centre For Occupational Disease Prevention et codirectrice du Centre For Research Expertise In Occupational Disease. Elle est hygi\u00e9niste du travail agr\u00e9\u00e9e (ROH). Ses recherches portent sur l\u2019\u00e9valuation et la pr\u00e9vention des expositions en milieu de travail dans divers contextes, notamment chez les premiers intervenants, dans les secteurs minier et de la construction, dans les salons de manucure et dans la gestion des d\u00e9chets \u00e9lectroniques. Elle est membre du comit\u00e9 consultatif scientifique sur les maladies professionnelles de la Workplace Safety And Insurance Board de l\u2019Ontario et participe activement au syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du travail en Ontario, au Canada. Guillaume Lachapelle est un professionnel chevronn\u00e9 en Environnement, Sant\u00e9 et S\u00e9curit\u00e9 (ESS) avec plus de 25 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans les secteurs minier, m\u00e9tallurgique et de la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie.
Il d\u00e9tient un baccalaur\u00e9at en chimie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM), une ma\u00eetrise en sant\u00e9 au travail de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill ainsi qu\u2019un dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures en administration des affaires de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Simon Fraser.

Kerry is a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH)\u00ae with 20 years of experience spanning research, industry, consulting, and government regulation. His work focuses on systemic change: improving professional standards and health risk management practice at a national and international level.<\/p>

He served as IOHA President-Elect 2025-2026 and is the IOHA President 2026-2027. He is Principal Advisor, Occupational Health at WorkSafe New Zealand, and is engaged across mentoring, standard-setting, and international networks, with a consistent focus on lifting professional standards and reducing worker exposures.<\/p>

Throughout, his focus has been on innovative thinking to improve how occupational health risks are identified, assessed, and controlled.
