The International Occupational Hygiene Association was established to improve, promote and develop occupational hygiene worldwide through its member organisations, and to improve and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all.
From its creation in 1987, IOHA has grown to 42 member organisations, representing over 20,000 occupational hygienists worldwide.
IOHA provides an international voice of the occupational hygiene profession through its recognition as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) by both the ILO (International Labour Organisation) and WHO (World Health Organisation).
The IOHA’s mission is to enhance the international network of occupational hygiene organizations that promote, develop and improve occupational hygiene worldwide, providing a safe and healthy working environment for all.
Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists
Occupational Hygiene is the discipline of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating and controlling health hazards in the working environment with the objective of protecting worker health and well-being and safeguarding the community at large.
The CRBOH or Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists, is a national, not-for-profit organization, which sets standards of professional competence for occupational hygienists and occupational hygiene technologists in Canada and around the world.
